Who processes the data

This document is a draft. It describes how the site works today and must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

What data and why

The enquiry form collects: name, phone or WhatsApp, optionally email, the preferred date, the location and a description of the shoot. This is used only to answer the enquiry and to arrange the shoot.

The fact of consent and the time it was given are recorded separately.

Photographs and video taken for you are processed in order to deliver the shoot that was agreed.

Publishing photographs is a separate consent

Agreeing to a shoot is not agreeing to publication. Portfolio, social media, advertising and teaching material are four separate permissions, each given voluntarily and each revocable.

Declining publication does not affect the shoot, the turnaround or the price.

Retention and deletion

Proofs stay in the gallery for thirty days after the finished work is delivered. Finished files can be downloaded for three months. Please download them and keep your own copy — that archive is yours, not mine.

Those periods mean the link stops working, not that the files are destroyed. If a deadline has passed and you still need your copy, just ask and I will reopen access. Deletion happens only at your request or by separate arrangement, and it cannot be undone.

Original camera files stay in my archive and are not part of the delivery unless separately agreed. Longer retention can be arranged.

You can request a copy of your data or its deletion via WhatsApp. Some records, such as financial ones, may be kept longer where the law requires it.

Where data is stored

Both the database and the shoot files are held by Cloudflare, with a location preference of eastern Europe. That is a preference and not a guarantee: Cloudflare picks the nearest available site, so processing is usually in Europe, but I cannot promise a particular country.

Your data leaves Kyrgyzstan: both the database and the files are held by Cloudflare. The basis for that transfer is your consent — given when you send the booking request, recorded with the time it was given, and withdrawable at any point via WhatsApp.

Analytics and cookies

The site uses no advertising trackers and shares no data with ad networks. If analytics is added, it will be described here before it is switched on, not after.
